In this post, I will explore the content selection for my case study brand, Her Fantasy Box. This brand focuses on curated subscription boxes aimed at enhancing couples’ intimacy. The content I’ve selected for my creative brief revolves around a series of blog posts designed to educate and inspire couples to strengthen their emotional and physical connection using the products offered by Her Fantasy Box.
I chose a blog post series as my content deliverable for several reasons. According to my research, Her Fantasy Box's primary business goal is to enhance intimacy and exploration within relationships. Educational content, like blog posts, aligns with the brand’s mission to demystify intimate experiences and create a judgment-free, inclusive environment. The target audience, primarily couples aged 25 to 45, shows a preference for engaging and discreet content, with blogs and visual media resonating well.
Furthermore, analytics reveal that educational content about intimacy is highly effective at increasing engagement. Competitor brands like "Unbound" and "Lovehoney" have seen success with similar strategies, indicating that blog posts can foster deeper connections, leading to a stronger community around Her Fantasy Box. The blog series will also promote inclusivity, a key component of the brand’s mission, while providing useful relationship advice and product insights.
Based on demographic and content research, I’ve identified that the audience seeks relationship advice across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and podcasts. The blog post series will serve as an anchor for expanding content on these platforms, combining storytelling, product education, and relationship tips. Additionally, by focusing on inclusivity, the content will appeal to LGBTQ+ individuals and middle- to upper-middle-class couples in urban areas.
